Victoria’s Tender Care is in the unique position to help manage the affairs of those who are unable to do so. This may mean assessing and evaluating the present living conditions for a concerned family member that is out of town and knows something isn’t right.Care Management may also be arranging for a helper or homemaker that can purchase groceries, prepare meals or help coordinate home repairs. Medical issues can be addressed and communicated with family members who need to know how their loved one is. Care Management can just mean the coordination of public sector resources to encompass their needs physically, emotionally, and socially.
Victoria’s professional staff are available on an hourly basis in
Pinellas County to assist families and individuals
regarding the proper handling of a variety of situations that may arise. Our experience and guidance will alleviate
most of the stress and pressure associated with bearing the responsibility yourself.
Although our ultimate goal is to maintain a family member in their own familiar surroundings,
we realize there may be a point at which other options must be considered. We can assist with packing and moving into
an assisted living facility within the St Petersburg / Clearwater
area, and help get a property ready to sell.
We offer monitoring services and place daily or weekly phone calls to see how a loved one is doing.
We also offer weekly or monthly visits to the home to check for signs that there may be problems such as not enough
food, outdated medicine, improper taking of medication, untidy living conditions
or clues that may indicate confusion,
memory changes or physical needs.
If you use private care givers, why not have one of our care managers oversee the case to coordinate duties and alert the family of matters that need attention?
There are SERIOUS RISKS in using private caregivers WITHOUT a Care Manager such as:
- No background or screening checks
- No supervisor to report any problems to
- No support system for the Caregiver
- Risk of unreported incidents, accidents,
theft, fraud, neglect or possible abuse
Let our care managers assist you in getting the help you need and the information you deserve. Read what some of our clients have to say.
